Event: Art Shopping at Carousel du Louvre, Paris

Date: 23rd – 25th of October 2015

Mona Youssef was so kind to invite me to exhibit at Art Shopping in Carousel du Louvre in Paris, which I more than happily accepted. Unfortunately, Karen was not able to go along, so this was a solo trip.

Since it was by The Louvre I thought I better bring my “Mona Lisa”. I guess every artist has one work that in some way is more striking than the other artworks. In my case, it is the Viking ship on a Winters Morning.

I also exhibited my Tower Bridge and City Hall under the Stars. A piece that I took particularly long to create. The better part of a year it took from I shot it, until I finally managed to get a version that I liked.

While in Paris I also spend a lot of time shooting photos. I had made a very tight schedule to get around to everything. One of my favorite shots is this one from the roof of the Arch of Triumph.

And when in The Louvre you have to have a photo with yourself in front of the glass pyramid.
